Location
The Holiday Camp „Wind Rose” is situated in the vicinity (150 m) of the wide sandy beach off the coast of Baltic Sea. The fragrant pine forest and diverse ornamental flora constitutes its natural surroundings.
The seaside district of Darłowo – Darłówko, where our recreation complex is located, lies 40 km to the north-east of Koszalin in the zone of well-known holiday resorts such as: Ustronie Morskie (70 km to the west) – Sarbinowo (55 km) – Mielno (50 km) – Dąbki (9 km) – Darłówko – Jarosławiec (20 km to the east) – Ustka (40 km).
The main attraction of the town is its location in the neighbourhood of beautiful lakes: Bukowo, Kopań, Jamno, which gives the opportunity to try water sports and fishing. Weather conditions are similar to that of the seaside, so wind and waves are allies of sailors and windsurfers.
What makes Darłówko (called also Darłówek by tourists) exceptional, is also its unique microclimate characterized by high insolation and humidity of air replete with medicinal iodine molecules. Wide forest areas and lack of industrial plants are the guarantee of fresh air, whereas favourable sea currents ensure clean beaches.
